FCS Facility Services is seeking a dependable General Cleaner for Orlando International Airport (MCO) on a stable 3rd shift schedule. You will perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain sanitation standards across airport facilities.

This role is full-time and requires the ability to work overnight, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety protocols. Background check and TSA clearance are required prior to start date.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Clean and sanitize various surfaces including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly and polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface floors paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.
• Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops; refill dispensers and supplies as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities to ensure adequate stock for daily tasks.
• Assist floor technicians in floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as directed by supervisors.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work overnight hours (3rd Shift).
• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift.-li>
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

This position is located at Orlando International Airport (MCO). All candidates must successfully complete a background check and TSA security clearance prior to their start date. Details will be provided during the hiring process.
