Southeast Airport Services, Inc. is seeking dependable Janitors/Cleaners to join our airport operations team at Orlando International Airport. This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout airport facilities to ensure a positive passenger experience.

Work assignments may be indoors or outdoors based on operational needs. Basic English is required, prior cleaning experience is a plus, and punctuality is essential for airport staffing requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of terminals, waiting areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, elevator buttons, counters, and seating.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors, stairwells, escalators, elevators, and sidewalks.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Operate janitorial equipment including mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Report maintenance, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.
• Provide courteous assistance to airport passengers when approached.
• Follow all company, airport, OSHA, and sanitation safety procedures.

Job Summary

Work assignments may be indoors or outdoors depending on operational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs frequently
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds including trash bags and cleaning equipment
• Ability to push or pull cleaning carts and machinery
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions

This position works in an active airport environment with exposure to noise, crowds, moving equipment, and cleaning chemicals. Employees must follow all airport security and safety protocols.
