Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking General Cleaners for 1st and 2nd shifts in Blue Island, IL. You will perform daily cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, and common areas with attention to detail and safety.

Background check and fingerprinting are required. This full- and part-time role offers a fast-paced environment, reliable transportation, and opportunities to contribute to a large, educational-focused facilities team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties to maintain daily facility upkeep.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Empty trash, recycle, and clean windows and surfaces as directed.
• Polish floors, strip and wax as needed, and manage supplies.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety guidelines.
