Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking General Cleaners in Charleston, SC to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of educational facilities. This role includes sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, window washing, and outdoor area cleaning as part of a team-driven, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), reliable transportation, and a dependable work history. The position offers multiple shifts, including 1st and 2nd shift, with opportunities for school-hours work

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, and cleaning various surfaces and fixtures.
• Washing windows and handling outdoor areas within 10 feet of entryways; assist with snow/ice removal.
• Collaborate with custodial supervisor and team to maintain daily cleanliness and safety standards.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
