Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a night shift custodian in Kansas City, MO. The role entails cleaning duties, window washing, and maintaining restroom facilities in educational environments.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to work Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and window cleaning.
• Wollows safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all areas.
• Dust and clean walls, vents, fixtures, and furniture.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Empty trash and maintain exterior areas near entrances.
• Restroom cleaning and supply replenishment.
• Submit work requests for repairs as needed.
• Organize custodial closets and store equipment.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required
