Job summary

HES is hiring for custodial staff in Junction City, KS. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, clean restrooms, windows, and interior fixtures to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

This role offers both full-time and part-time shifts with benefits including medical, dental, vision and paid time off, and opportunities to contribute to a national facilities management provider focused 100% on education. Optional daily pay is available.

Qualifications

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum daily to maintain floors and surfaces.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies to standards.
• Dust and clean walls, fixtures, and windows to keep spaces bright.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as requested by supervisor in assigned areas.
• Move and arrange furniture for events as needed.
• Complete work orders for repairs and restocking.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
