Job summary

HES Facilities Management seeks a Part-Time General Cleaner to support custodial operations at our St. Charles, MO facility. You will perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, window care, and trash removal.

• Experience with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning.
• Ability to organize and supply custodial closets.
• Move furniture for events and assist with setup as directed.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
• Dust and clean walls, vents, furniture, and fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways and empty trashcans outside entrances.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repairs.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and set up furniture for special functions.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.

Job Skills / Requirements

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances
• Clean restrooms, plunge sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor
