Job Summary Details:

The Nuclear Facility Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area within a highly secure nuclear power plant. Duties include cleaning and dusting breakrooms, bathrooms, office areas, and high traffic zones.

Part time shift schedule: 2nd shift, 4:30pm-10:30pm, 5 hrs. a day, Mon-Friday.
Pay rate: $15.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
3. No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Customer service experience.
2. 1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
2. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
3. Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
4. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
5. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
6. Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
7. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or using hand trucks.
8. Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
9. Wash and replace blinds.
10. Gather and empty trash.
11. Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
12. Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
13. Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
