General cleaner (Full-time)

$11.00 per hour

Overview

HES Facilities Management is seeking a custodian responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities. The role includes regular cleaning duties and supporting classroom setup and maintenance.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom sanitation, window washing, snow/ice removal, and cleaning furniture and fixtures
• Work well in a team and follow directions
• Physically capable of performing demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation
• Background check required

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, not required
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus

Physical and Working Conditions

Must be able to reach, bend, wipe, push, and pull. Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Extensive walking and standing required. Ability to work in varying temperatures.
