Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness across assigned areas within the facility. You will perform a combination of cleaning duties including floors, restrooms, windows, and entry areas to ensure daily upkeep.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a team-focused approach. A background check is required and transportation is necessary for site travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with others and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and dust all assigned areas and clean restrooms and locker rooms.
• Vacuum, mop, and clean floors; remove trash and recycling; sanitize surfaces.
• Clean windows, walls, desks, and entry areas; perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal of snow and ice, cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, counter tops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.

Minimum Qualifications
