Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards across facilities, performing dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and restroom cleaning while upholding safety rules and customer service.

This part-time 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 6:00 pm–8:00 pm) in Heyworth, IL requires 18+, HS diploma or GED, reliable transportation, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a friendly, dependable attitude. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) after 60 days, and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work evenings and part-time 2nd shift (6:00 pm–8:00 pm).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning; gather and empty trash bins following health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:
