Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner for part-time 2nd shift in Lafayette, IN. You will perform cleaning duties, stock supplies, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for clients and coworkers. The role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with shifts 6 PM–12 AM, Monday–Friday.

Daily Pay options and PTO/Holidays are provided, with 401(k) eligibility after 60 days. Must be 18+ with reliable transportation and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Able to lift, push & pull 50 lbs; stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning; collect and empty trash in designated areas following safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management of safety risks or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
