Job summary

Vonachen Group in Evansville is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness standards and support a safe, positive work environment. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, stock supplies, and report hazards while delivering friendly customer service.

The position is full-time on the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 5pm–11pm, offering full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, and a 401(k). Daily Pay option is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Details:
