Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner in Dubuque, IA to maintain high customer satisfaction through consistent cleaning, supply management, and safe work practices. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse team and customers.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, stock management, hazard reporting, and following safety protocols. Shifts include 6am-2pm and 3pm-11pm; daily pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Flexible hours including evenings.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize restrooms according to health and safety rules.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms.
• Inform management of safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours.
• Perform other duties and trainings as assigned.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
