Job summary

Vonachen Group in Kokomo, IN is hiring a General Cleaner responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards in designated facilities. You will perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal while following safety regulations.

The position offers part-time, 2nd shift (6PM–10PM) with daily pay option and benefits. Applicants should be at least 18, have reliable transportation, and be able to work with minimal supervision in a customer‑service oriented

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, and trash removal per health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of potential safety risks or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety by completing after-hours tasks as required.
• Perform other duties and trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
