Your Role With Us

Salem Health Hospital is a 644-bed community hospital serving the Willamette Valley in Northwest Oregon, located 50 miles south of Portland. Our system includes over 330 providers across various specialties, including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.

We seek General Cardiologists to join our hospital-based cardiology program. Our state-of-the-art Cath Lab features 7 suites and hybrid OR access, performing over 1800 diagnostic coronary angiograms and 500+ interventions annually. Our team includes 2 General Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Physician Assistants, and 1 Cardiac Electrophysiologist. Our Echo and Vascular Labs are accredited, and we offer comprehensive cardiac services, including Navigation and Rehabilitation.

Our Medical Group comprises over 330 providers across 20 specialties, focusing on patient experience and care coordination. Salem's strategic location allows us to serve both metropolitan and rural communities, offering diverse lifestyle opportunities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school; completion of ACGME or AOA accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Unrestricted M.D./D.O. license in Oregon.
• Unrestricted DEA registration.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOA).
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM); applicants must obtain certification within five years if not already certified.
• Experience performing at least 100 core cardiology procedures in the past 24 months.
• Current ACLS certification.
