Job summary

Cardiology Associates Medical Group in Ventura, California, seeks a General (Non–Interventional) Cardiologist to join our busy, physician‑owned practice between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. This employed position offers potential for partnership after ramp-up and welcomes an interest in Chronic Heart Failure though not required.

We treat a broad patient base with in‑house PET, SPECT, Stress Echo, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Device Techs; our affiliation includes call at one primary hospital,

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in cardiology.
• California medical license or eligibility.
• General cardiology interest and willingness to collaborate with subspecialists.
• Experience or interest in heart failure is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology care to a broad patient population in Ventura County and surrounding communities.
• Collaborate with subspecialists in Interventional and Structural Cardiology, Vascular Disease, and Electrophysiology.
• In-house imaging and testing oversight including PET, SPECT, Stress Echo, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Lab readings.
• Affiliated with one primary hospital; perform procedures at a second hospital and an ambulatory surgical center.
• Support resident training and participate in clinical trials when applicable.
• Share call responsibilities with weekends allocated across hospitals.
