Job description

General Cardiologist – Cardio‑Obstetrics

The Cleveland Clinic Regional Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a general cardiologist with an interest in Cardio‑Obstetrics. The program provides high‑quality patient care through a network of more than 60 cardiologists and serves 180 outpatient facilities in Northeastern Ohio.

Responsibilities

We are seeking candidates who will develop patient‑centered outpatient and hospital practices in general cardiology. The position is multi‑faceted:

  1. Ensuring outpatient access for cardiovascular care services.
  2. Providing timely diagnostic testing and hospital care.
  3. Supporting delivery of the highest quality care and patient experience.
  4. Expanding the Cardio‑Obstetrics service line to the western region.

Additional duties include outpatient and inpatient consultation, imaging interpretation, and procedural services consistent with the candidate’s background. The role also involves caring for pregnant patients with heart disease, managing them throughout pregnancy and delivery, and overseeing the Post‑partum Heart Clinic for cardiovascular risk management.

Qualifications

Candidates should be BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

The pay range reflected here is for a 100% full‑time employee. Actual compensation will be consistent with fair market value and will consider experience, board certification, FTE, and other factors.
