Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a General Cardiologist with an interest in Cardio-Obstetrics to develop patient-centered outpatient and hospital practices. This role will support the expansion of the Cardio-Obstetrics service line in the western region.

Responsibilities include providing access to cardiovascular care services, managing care for pregnant patients with heart disease, and ensuring high-quality patient experiences. A competitive salary range of $428,000 – $639,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Job description

General Cardiologist – Cardio-Obstetrics

We are seeking a general cardiologist with an interest in Cardio-Obstetrics to develop patient-centered outpatient and hospital practices and expand the Cardio-Obstetrics service line to our western region.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring outpatient access for cardiovascular care services.
• Providing timely diagnostic testing and hospital care.
• Supporting the delivery of the highest quality care and patient experience.
• Expanding the Cardio-Obstetrics service line to our western region.
• General cardiology roles include opportunities for outpatient and inpatient consultation, imaging interpretations, and procedural services in line with candidate’s background and experience.
• Evaluating and managing pregnant patients with heart disease throughout pregnancy and delivery; managing postpartum cardiovascular risk in those with adverse pregnancy outcomes such as hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and gestational diabetes.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
