Ascension St. Vincent Evansville seeks a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist to join a robust cardiac program. The role primarily focuses on outpatient care with periodic inpatient rounding, using advanced cath lab capabilities and imaging to deliver high-quality patient care.

Join 16 physicians and 16 APPs
Compensation structure:
$650,000 one year guarantee, loan forgiveness, commencement bonus, relocation; Earning potential in year two and beyond exceeds first year guarantee on a lucrative production model
Call structure: 1:8 light home call
Practice setting: Mixed (primarily outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding 1x every 2 months)
Access to advanced cath lab (including Watchman, TAVR, high-risk PCI, renal denervation), on-site CT surgery backup, and advanced cardiac imaging
Drive clinical excellence by utilizing evidence-based decision-making and key procedures (TEE, DCCV) to maximize patient satisfaction and outcomes
Enhance patient access and heart care through collaborative outpatient and inpatient consultations, maintaining an average clinic volume of 15â20 patients per day
ACGME Internal Medicine residency involvement optional
Mentorship opportunities available for advanced practice practitioners and medical students

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
