Job summary

Mt. Lebanon School District invites applications for the General Cafeteria Worker position at Howe Elementary School. This 6-hour/day, part-time, on-site role runs 10 months, Monday through Friday during the school year, with hours 8:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Starting hourly rate is $17.57; PTO, health/dental/vision insurance eligibility after 90 days, work shirts, and pants/shoes reimbursement are offered. Applicants must provide Act 151, Act 34, and FBI clearances at hire, plus Act 126, PDE 6004, School

The Mt. Lebanon School District Food Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of General Cafeteria Worker at Howe Elementary School. This is a part-time, on-site, permanent, 10 month position working 6 hours per day, scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, on days when students are in attendance during the regular school year.

Additional work/training days may be scheduled by the Food Services Department on an as needed basis.

Please see attached job description for additional information about the role. The 2026-2027 hourly rate is $17.57. This position is eligible for:

• Paid time off in the form of sick and personal days
• A district contribution towards the purchase of district sponsored health, dental, and/or vision insurance benefits after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period
• Work shirts provided
• Reimbursement of up to $150 per school year for the purchase of district-approved work pants and/or shoes
