The Mt. Lebanon School District is actively seeking individuals to join its Substitute Cafeteria Worker pool. Substitutes provide support to the Food Services Department team on an as‑needed basis when regular employees are absent. Substitutes may serve in day‑to‑day, short‑term, or long‑term assignments, and locations include the High School, middle schools, and elementary schools. Shifts vary in length between 3.5 and 6 hours per day. Advanced scheduling often available.

Rate: $15.10 per hour for the 2025-2026 school year.

No experience necessary, but general knowledge of food and customer service, including the safe handling of perishable and non‑perishable foods, is helpful. This is a good opportunity to make your own casual work schedule, with daytime assignments.
