Job summary

CRH is seeking a Stone Fabricator to safely and efficiently fabricate outdoor living products by cutting, assembling concrete pavers, retaining wall blocks, and related hardscape materials to meet customer specs.

You will read job specifications, operate block saws and power tools, perform measurements, and inspect finished work for quality. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Operate fabrication equipment, block saw, hand tools, and power tools safely.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive work.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in manufacturing.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
  • Follow safety policies and strive for quality standards.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Stone Fabricator is responsible for safely and efficiently fabricating outdoor living products using and assembling concrete pavers, retaining wall blocks, and related hardscape materials to meet customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Read job specifications to determine material requirements
  • Perform various duties such as cutting, grinding, gluing, leveling, measuring dimensions for accuracy
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Move materials and finished products using forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required
  • Perform various minor machine maintenance (changing out springs/blades)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Assist with additional production and fabrication duties as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals
Job Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Operate fabrication equipment, block saw, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive work throughout the day
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in the manufacturing environment
  • Provide assistance to others who may require it (team lift)

  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement practices
  • Must be able to perform essential duties of the job
  • High school diploma or similar experience a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Previous fabrication, masonry, stone, concrete, manufacturing, welding, carpentry, construction experience a plus but will train
  • Knowledge of basic math and measurements skills
  • Standing and bending extended periods of time

Compensation
  • The hourly pay is $22
