We are looking for an experienced automotive technician.

Position Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications. Knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus.
2. Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include other teammates and customers.
3. Remove and reinstall transmission systems.
4. Assist other technicians in performing technical activities.
5. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through informal training sessions to stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology.
6. Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
7. Maintain an organized service department.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a General Technician.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Own professional-grade tools.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair specific to transmission rebuilding.
• Ability to communicate solutions effectively.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
