Job summary

A technology company located in Batavia, Illinois, is looking for a skilled technician with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly to assist with detector production and testing. Responsibilities include working with large components, carbon-fiber layup, and basic measuring equipment. Job description

Under the direction of the PPD and ETD staff, the work is expected to consist of the following:

• Assist in detector production
• Assist in detector test

Qualifications

We are interested in technicians who have at least 3 years of experience in system/component assembly:

• Work with mechanical assembly, gluing and assembly of large components.
• Work with carbon-fiber layup
• Work with basic measuring and QC equipment.
• Report to the PI of END on activities and results from tests, measurements, and assembly.
