Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an experienced assembler to follow production routing and assemble infrared detectors onto TO packages or LN2 dewars with precision. You will use microscopes to position and epoxy mount detectors, perform wire bonding, and solder components per drawings.

The role requires a HS Diploma with 10–15 years of experience, ability to read drawings, and meticulous record keeping. Travel is minimal and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 10-15 years of experience.
• Read drawings.
• Wire bonding, soldering, epoxy applications.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow production routing and assembly drawings to build infrared detectors onto TO packages or LN2 dewars.
• Position and epoxy mount detectors using microscope and small tools.
• Wire bond detectors and substrates with gold wire.
• Hand solder RF components and wires.
• Take accurate and precise measurements.
