Job summary

Custom Staffing is seeking an experienced Shackle Assembler in Prospect, OH for a temp-to-hire General Assembly Associate role with benefits after one calendar month.

Pay is $17.53/hour with a 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The position requires attention to detail and critical thinking; overtime and weekend hours may be needed. Benefits include a 401(k) with Safe Harbor company match and profit sharing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders.
• Identify and gather correct shackles.
• Make pad locks.
• Check setup of machine; ask trainer or supervisor for assistance when needed.
• Use a foot pedal.

Job description

Custom Staffing is partnering with a local Padlock Manufacturer to add an experienced General Assembly Associate to their team in Prospect, OH. This is a temp to hire position with benefits after one calendar month of being hired on. Theyoffer a 401K with a Safe Harbor company match and are a profit share company.

Shackle Assembler:

• Pay:$17.53/hr (Pay increase once hired)
• Shift:1st
• Hours:7am-3:30pm (Weekends and overtime as needed)

Shackle Assembler Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with small parts
• Responsible for keying new locks
• Reading work orders
• Identifying and gathering correct shackles
• Making pad locks
• Checking set up of machine; if unsure, ask Trainer or Supervisor for assistance
• Using a foot pedal
• Inspecting the padlock
