Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a General Assembler for a Medical Devices Company in El Paso, TX. This entry-level, 12-month contract on W-2 offers a 4th shift (6:00 am – 6:00 pm, Sat/Sun) and 40 hours per week; pay range $16–$20 per hour.

Under supervision, you will assist in the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, or medical devices, following GMP, safety and SOPs. High school diploma preferred; basic English; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to read, write, and understand Basic English preferred.
• Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack is preferred.
• Problem solving skills is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and train for production processes related to active ingredients, intermediates, or medical devices.
• Follow GMP and SOPs, ensuring safety and quality.
• Transport materials using material handling equipment.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and environmental practices.
• Overtime may be required.
• Identify hazards and report spills, accidents, near misses.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP, s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
• Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviours, work environment and housekeeping.
• Available for overtime as needed
• Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labelling and storing chemicals.
• Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise. Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
