Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join our well-established anesthesia department. The team includes 38 physicians, 70+ CRNAs and 24 anesthesia technicians, covering over 50 locations with a yearly case volume exceeding 32,000 anesthetics.

There are teaching opportunities for SRNAs and residents. Applicants must graduate from an accredited medical school, be board certified/board eligible in Anesthesiology, and hold or be eligible

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine.
• Unrestricted PA medical license or eligible.
• ACGME-accredited Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship or extensive CT anesthesia experience with TEE.
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and other programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic anesthesia care across high-volume cases.
• Collaborate with a large multi-disciplinary team and cover in-house call.
• Teach SRNA’s and residents within the department.
