ECAA is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to provide anesthetics across three WakeMed locations in the Raleigh area. The role includes medical direction of certified registered nurse anesthetists and anesthesia assistants, with a diverse case mix and opportunities for ASC work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers general and regional anesthetics and pain medication.
• Provides anesthesia maintenance and adjustment before, during, and after procedures.
• Performs labor epidurals and spinals for C-sections when needed.
• Orders diagnostic tests as needed and collaborates with surgical teams.
• Supervises nurse anesthetists and other staff; ensures patient safety and recovery.
