Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a property and casualty claims adjuster to investigate and adjust residential and commercial claims with minimal supervision. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to evaluate coverage, damages, and reserves.

You will inspect claims, interview parties, prepare cost estimates, negotiate settlements, and maintain relationships with clients while adhering to quality standards and compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• IIA-AIC designation required.
• State adjuster license preferred.
• Two years related experience required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To investigate and adjust property and casualty claims, both residential and commercial, with little to no supervision.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).
• Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. IIA-AIC designation required. Appropriate state adjuster license is required.

Experience Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
