Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join the General Accounting team, helping with month-end close, journal entries, and variance analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support audits, fixed assets, and banking activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2–3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency with ERP systems and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close process: schedules, reconciliation, and closing entries.

• Reconcile complex cash accounts with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with banking activities including reporting and daily cash journal entries.
• Assist with yearly audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist with Fixed Asset reporting and tracking costs for capitalizable projects.
• Support miscellaneous ad hoc projects.

Your Next Opportunity

Rosendin Electric is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join the General Accounting team to provide support in various accounting functions within the company.

What You’ll Do

• Assists with the monthly close process: including preparing month end schedules, reconciliation, and preparing closing entries.
• Prepare and upload various journal entries daily as well as ensuring all transactions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Assists with monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead expenditures against budget and report any findings to management.
• Reconcile complex cash accounts and work with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with banking related activities including transactional reporting and daily cash journal entries.
• Assist with the yearly audit and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist with Fixed Asset reporting including tracking costs for various purchases and on-going capitalizable projects.
• Provide support general support on miscellaneous ad hoc projects.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Proficient understanding of accounting processes and principles
• Experience with a large ERP system preferred
• Effective analytical skills
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.); Oracle preferred
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

What You Bring To Us

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related

Working Conditions

• General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
• Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Pay Range

$33.45-$44.00 Hourly

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate’s pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
