Job summary

Snowline Engineering in Cameron Park, CA seeks a General Accountant to support GL accounting, monthly closes, payroll review, and ensure GAAP compliance across financial statements.

Qualifications

• AA or BA in accounting preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Detailed knowledge of Excel and Word programs.
• Experience with ERP software; Jobboss2 is a plus.
• Knowledge of internal control framework.

Responsibilities

• GL account maintenance.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Record accruals and track prepayments.
• Reconcile loan payments and maintain accurate amortization schedules.
• Reconcile credit cards and general accounts monthly.
• Review of payroll data for accuracy.
• Analyze financial data and assist with budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with AP and AR related activities including creating invoices and communication with customers and vendors.
• Process vendor returns and track debit and credit memos.
• Maintain and review inventory reports and job costing data.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Track cash flow.
• File and organize internal financial files (paper and electronic).

Status: Full Time

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
