The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, invites applications for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide gender affirmation and general plastic and reconstructive care, and will contribute to teaching and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Must have medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Must hold or be eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in Plastic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide gender-affirmation and general plastic and reconstructive care.
• Teach and supervise trainees and students; participate in scholarly activity.
• Develop offsite practices to expand geographic footprint in South Suburbs and River East.
