Job summary

University of Chicago invites applications for full-time faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section of Comprehensive Gynecology, at the rank of associate or assistant professor. The appointee will provide comprehensive gynecologic care, focusing on minimally invasive surgery, hormonal therapies, and preventive women's health.

Responsibilities include teaching, supervision of trainees, scholarly activity, and potential for leadership in program development and quality

Qualifications

• Must have a medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient‑centered gynecologic care across the lifespan.
• Develop expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and office procedures.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of trainees and students; engage in scholarly activity.
• Lead or participate in program development, quality improvement, and clinical leadership.
• Support Comprehensive Gynecology practices at Flossmoor, IL, and Crown Point, IN; operate at Crown Point ASC and Hyde Park campus.

Education

Medical doctorate or equivalent

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Illinois medical license or eligibility

Indiana medical license or eligibility
