Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in Charlotte, NC or Parsippany, NJ is seeking a GenAI Solution Architect to lead AI-first engineering strategy and design scalable GenAI solutions across enterprise programs.

You will collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, and technology teams to build cloud-native AI solutions leveraging LLMs, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, APIs, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

Strong experience designing and delivering Generative AI solution architectures, including LLM-powered applications and AI agents.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
Experience developing GenAI solutions using GPT-4/4o, Claude, Gemini, and Llama.
Strong experience with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and microservices.
Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with AI platform engineering and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
Strong stakeholder leadership and ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Drive AI-first engineering strategy and lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise Generative AI solutions.
Design scalable, cloud-native architectures leveraging LLMs, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and microservices.
Build and deploy GenAI-powered applications using GPT-4/4o, Claude, Gemini, Llama and advanced prompt techniques.
Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted tools to accelerate software delivery and improve productivity.
Define and promote engineering standards across CI/CD, DevOps, API integration, and cloud-native development.
Design AI solutions leveraging AWS and Amazon Bedrock and support scalable AI platforms.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable AI solutions.
