Carbon Data Solutions seeks an experienced AI engineer to lead GenAI discovery and end-to-end design. You will translate business problems into architectures, build data ingestion and retrieval layers, and orchestrate with LangChain/LlamaIndex.

You will implement RAG pipelines and safe, governance-minded solutions for enterprise use. The role requires strong Python production-grade skills, experience with LLMs and agents, and collaboration across data, product, and full-stack teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science/AI engineering.
• 4+ years of production-ready Python AI code development.
• 2+ years of production-ready LLM-related code development (RAG preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for AI solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, agents, and RAG mechanisms.
• Experience with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph).
• Proficiency in Python packaging, testing, and ML service deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure/GCP/AWS) and CI/CD.

Responsabilités

• Lead discovery and design for GenAI use cases translating business problems into architectures.
• Build end-to-end GenAI applications including data ingestion, retrieval, orchestration, API/backend, and UI where needed.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines with vector DBs, hybrid search, rerankers, and evaluation for robustness.
• Perform model selection, prompting strategies, and fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA/SFT).
• Implement safety, governance, and audit controls with human-in-the-loop review when required.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and full-stack developers on scalable architectures.
• Mentor data scientists/engineers and contribute to internal libraries and templates.
• Stay current with GenAI landscape and validate PoCs.
