Job summary

Accenture plc in the United States (Virginia) seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI systems powered by LLMs. You will work across research, prompt engineering, system integration, and production deployment to improve performance, safety, and alignment.

You will collaborate with business leaders, engineers, and designers to ensure AI systems meet business objectives, and you may travel as required up to 0–100% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise in designing and building resilient AI systems, with guardrails and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and data pipelines.
• 3+ years in engineering with Python/JavaScript/Java/Spring/GoLang and mastery of at least one AI framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI prompts and next-generation applications powered by foundation models, including LLMs.
• Architect and implement generative agent systems for multi-model coordination.
• Develop application and component strategies, overseeing user experience and backend systems.
