Job summary

Amazon Annapurna Labs in New York, NY is hiring a role focused on applying AI to AI to accelerate Neuron and Trainium adoption. You will partner with internal and external teams to identify obstacles and opportunities and build AI agents to streamline workloads.

The team aims to expand Generative AI capabilities for AWS silicon, delivering scalable software, performance improvements, and secure, reliable systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information to executives and non-technical leaders
• 3+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience
• Computer Science core: object-oriented design, data structures, and performance analysis with at least 2 programming languages
• Hands-on technical experience working in the Generative AI space
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full SDLC, including coding standards, reviews, source control, build, testing and operations
• Experience in ML compilers, production coding agents, GenAI model architecture, model training, neural network optimization, or applied math
• Passion for customer experience and usability, including self-service tools and automated management/optimization of services

Responsibilities

• This role collaborates with Neuron software teams, science, AWS AI Services, external partners and customers to accelerate Neuron adoption and impact.
• Research implementations to improve customer experiences with Neuron and Trainium workloads.
• Build and maintain agentic evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI agents.
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software to improve service performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Develop high-quality, highly available, always-on products.
• Potentially contribute intellectual property through patents
