Job summary

Netflix Inkubator seeks a Producer & Director’s Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, US, helping create animated content via GenAI-native pipelines. You will be a production-focused bridge, coordinating workflows, artist communications, and tracking in an artist-led environment.

The role requires 4+ years in production coordination, knowledge of ShotGrid/FlowPT, strong organization, and ability to balance multiple projects across time zones. This is a fast-paced, collaborative position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production coordination or as a creative assistant within animation, film, or experimental media.
• Working knowledge of animation production workflows and asset tracking systems (e.g., ShotGrid or FlowPT) and Google Suite.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate a director’s vision into organized production tasks.
• Independent worker with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and switch easily between tasks.
• Strong attention to detail at all times.
• Displays professionalism in communication with internal and external partners.
• Responsive and able to work flexibly across time zones.
• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
• Strong judgment and ability to make decisions quickly or to gather necessary context for making decisions.
• Team player who operates in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and work on short deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage complex calendars for the leadership team, coordinating internal and external partnerships.
• Liaise on GenAI-native production strategy and how workstreams intersect with studio goals.
• Build relationships with cross-functional and external partners to support an experimental environment.
• Coordinate team offsites, on-sites, and reviews to drive momentum and alignment.
• Manage creative schedules and production calendars aligning with the project’s production plan and milestones.
• Facilitate creative reviews: set agendas, capture insights, and drive follow‑through on key decisions.
• Coordinate travel arrangements.
• Process expense reports promptly.
