Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer within the Professional Services (ProServe) organization to design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.

You will work with customers to scope high-value use cases, train and fine-tune models, run experiments, and optimize performance at scale. This role requires strong ML and GenAI expertise and a collaborative mindset to drive successful AI

Qualifications

2+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
Experience in software engineering lifecycle, coding standards, reviews, and deployments.
Experience in defining benchmarks for GenAI model performance.
Experience applying quantitative analysis to multi-team projects.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs.
Develop and deploy ML models and GenAI apps solving real-world business problems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML use cases and requirements.
Provide technical guidance on responsible and cost-efficient AI/ML delivery.
Advise customers on latest AI/ML advancements and data sources for impact.
Mentor team members and prototype new AI technologies.
