Motorola Solutions is seeking a curious GenAI & ML Intern for Summer 2027 in Chicago. The role targets early-college students bridging academics with real-world AI development. You will build AI prototypes, explore cutting-edge tools, and collaborate closely with engineers while owning research and development projects.

You will work on AI agent development, rapid prototyping, data analytics, cloud integrations, and technical documentation to support enterprise AI deployments.

Qualifications

Educational requirements include pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Build functional AI prototypes and PoC applications using GenAI frameworks and APIs.
Experiment with agentic frameworks to design autonomous AI agents for multi-step tasks.
Test, benchmark, and evaluate emerging AI/ML tools and platforms.
Process, clean, and visualize large datasets; report findings clearly.
Utilize AWS, Azure, or GCP to integrate AI solutions into workflows.
Help troubleshoot, test, and optimize existing AI use cases.
Translate complex AI concepts into accessible documentation for teams.
