Cactus Communications is seeking accomplished physician researchers to serve as Subject Matter Experts in Generative AI for medical research. The role focuses on supporting GenAI products that advance medical evidence generation, translation, and dissemination.

The SME will bridge clinicians with GenAI engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and product managers, guiding study design, data integration, and evaluation of AI outputs with emphasis on rigor and publication ethics.

Qualificações

• MD with anesthesiology specialization and active US clinical license.
• Advanced training such as PhD/MPH/MS in Clinical Research or related field.
• Demonstrated peer‑reviewed publications as first/senior author in high‑impact journals.
• Hands‑on experience with RCTs, systematic reviews, or meta‑analyses.
• PI experience desirable.
• Familiarity with major medical databases and data extraction tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert guidance in study and workflow design for clinical research, including systematic and narrative reviews, RCTs, and qualitative studies.
• Evaluate GenAI outputs for scientific accuracy, rigor, and adherence to CONSORT, PRISMA, and GRADE.
• Facilitate integration of clinical data into AI tools with emphasis on journal content.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, UX designers, and engineers to define test cases and translate workflows into AI-assisted research capabilities.
• Define metrics for GenAI agent accuracy, bias, and reliability in research and publication settings.
• Provide clinical review throughout GenAI model selection, tuning, testing, and refinement processes.
• Act as a clinical thought leader to inform product development in medical/research domains.
• Represent the organization in selected customer engagements.

Formação académica

MD in Anesthesiology, board certification, and active US clinical license

PhD/MPH/MS in Clinical Research, Biomedical Informatics, or Epidemiology

Peer‑reviewed publications as first or senior author

Experience with randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, or meta-analyses

Principal Investigator experience desirable

Familiarity with PubMed, Embase, ClinicalTrials.gov, Cochrane Library
