Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Data Scientist to own Generative AI and ML support for Knowledge & Development Solutions (KDS). This role partners with KDS leaders to design, build, evaluate, and scale AI/ML solutions across knowledge management, training, content delivery, and employee enablement.

You will apply GenAI, RAG, and traditional ML to improve how employees find and use information, with a focus on predictive modeling, experimentation, and production-ready implementations.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistics.
• Advanced toolset knowledge and ability to develop tools.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Establish and build relationships within and outside the organization.
• Experience translating business needs into AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own Generative AI and ML portfolio for KDS in partnership with KDS leaders.
• Identify and deliver AI/ML use cases to improve knowledge discovery and training outcomes.
• Design, build, and evaluate predictive models, GenAI apps, and RAG solutions.
• Apply full-stack data science from problem framing to deployment and measurement.
• Collaborate with Technology, Engineering, UX, Compliance, and business stakeholders to productionize solutions.
• Define measurement strategies for model performance and business impact.
• Provide mentorship on AI/ML solution design and scalable implementation patterns.
