Job summary

Liberty Mutual is hiring a Data Scientist to own Generative AI and ML support for Knowledge & Development Solutions (KDS). You will design, build, and scale AI/ML solutions across knowledge management, training, and employee enablement, partnering with stakeholders to improve discovery and learning outcomes.

You will apply predictive modeling, GenAI, RAG, and traditional ML, with responsibility for measurement, governance, and production readiness across enterprise content and training materials.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics.
• Expert resource for tool development and model tooling.
• Ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to establish and build relationships inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to give effective training and presentations to management and other groups.
• Ability to use analysis results to persuade leadership to a course of action.

Responsibilities

• Own the Generative AI and ML portfolio for KDS and partner with KDS leaders.
• Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML use cases to improve knowledge discovery and learning outcomes.
• Design, build, evaluate predictive models, GenAI apps, semantic search, RAG solutions, and tools.
• Apply full-stack data science practices from problem framing to deployment and measurement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to move solutions from concept to production-minded implementation.
• Define and implement measurement strategies for model performance, adoption, and impact.
• Provide mentorship and leadership on AI/ML solution design and scalable implementation patterns.
