Job summary

Liberty Mutual seeks a Data Scientist to own Generative AI and ML solutions for Knowledge & Development. The role partners with KDS leaders to design, build, and scale AI/ML across content, learning, and employee enablement.

Responsibilities include end-to-end data science, advanced modeling, and production-ready implementation with governance and monitoring. Hybrid work for nearby offices is available; remote work with travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end data science solutions in a large enterprise.
• Proven ability to apply GenAI, ML, and traditional modeling to business problems.
• Strong communication to product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the Generative AI and ML portfolio for KDS in partnership with KDS leaders.
• Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML use cases improving knowledge discovery.
• Design, build, and evaluate predictive models, GenAI apps, semantic search, RAG.
• Apply full-stack data science from problem framing to deployment and measurement.
• Partner with multiple teams to move solutions to production-minded implementation.
• Define measurement strategies to assess model performance and impact.
• Provide technical mentorship on AI/ML solution design and scalable patterns.
