Qualifications

• Customer-driven solutions, support, or service experience.
• Must be currently seeking a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree and enrolled on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
• Must have completed 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.
• Preferred degree programs include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related technical fields.
• Preferred experience includes coursework, internships, research, or hands-on work in application support, software development, data analytics, ML, IT support, systems administration, or related technology functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environment, culture, and structure to support work initiatives.
• Open to new ideas, systems, and procedures; generate creative ideas in response to changing situations.
• Build and develop ML applications to address business problems.
• Assist with data cleaning, preparation, and analysis.
• Participate in projects related to application support, software development, IT operations, system enhancements, and tech solutions.
• Present project results to management and/or department personnel.
• Stay up to date on quantum computing, ML, and emerging technology trends through research and seminars.
• Other duties as assigned.
