Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production environments at customer sites. You will be an embedded implementer, moving from prototype to production-grade agentic workflows, addressing data readiness, state management, and integration challenges to deliver ROI.

You will co-build with customer teams, shape Google’s AI stack deployment, and influence product roadmaps through field insights, spanning CX, CES, and CCAI suites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience; proficient in Python or similar languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI-driven solutions for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Hands-on experience implementing Google’s Conversational AI product suite (Gemini CX, CES, CCAI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications transitioning prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google AI products and customer live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to promote Google-grade development practices.
