Job summary

Google is hiring a Partner Forward Deployed Engineer V, GenAI, Google Cloud in New York or Sunnyvale. You will bridge frontier AI products and production systems, coding and deploying bespoke agentic solutions with partner teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a tech lead and developer with strategic AI partners for complex AI applications.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for AI systems.
• Identify repeatable partner patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Co-build with a partner’s forward deployed team to instill Google-grade practices.
• Help partners to build their own agentic delivery capabilities for long-term success.
