Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an experienced engineer to advance memory design automation. You will partner with design, CAD, and product teams to reduce manual effort and accelerate tapeout across memory products.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled design automation, scalable CAD methodologies, and integration of EDA tools into production workflows. A strong coding background and 5+ years in CAD/EDA are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five years experience in CAD, layout, AMS, PDN, or EDA.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Tcl, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience developing production-quality automation tools and CAD methodologies.
• Working knowledge of floor planning, layout, AMS, or power integrity.
• Experience with commercial EDA tools and semiconductor design flows.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions for layout generation, floor planning, AMS, and PDN.
• Create scalable CAD methodologies improving design quality and productivity.
• Build software frameworks integrating EDA tools and design workflows.
• Automate analysis, debugging, optimization, and design-space exploration processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy advanced design solutions.
• Apply AI and analytics to accelerate design convergence and closure.
